L-block is used for:
- A L-block is specially designed for making the building of the insulated plate foundation of a dwelling house simpler.
- As the L-block has to carry the load of the entire house, it is made as a monolith block from the strongest EPS material – EPS 200.
- It is not allowed to use insulation material EPS 100 in such a strategically important part of the construction as the footage of the foundation.
In addition to standard measures it is possible to make special measures.
Instructions for using the L-block:
- Remove the vegetation and earth from under the foundation
- Install networks under the foundation
- Fill and make the surface under the foundation denser up to the required level
- Install L-blocks according to the measures of the foundation
- Support the exterior side of L-blocks with filling material
- Install insulation under the floor in several layers
- Install enforcement, required pipes and cables
- • Fill the foundation with concrete starting in lower parts
